Multiva Forte seed drills are designed especially for situations where drilling needs to be carried out with minimal soil preparation — or even without any cultivation at all. Forte’s structural solutions provide accurate and consistent seed placement even when drilling into stubble, cover crops or green biomass — precisely the conditions where a seed drill is pushed to its limits.
Forte also excels in traditional drilling. The coulter system, coulter pressure and overall design ensure the same precision and reliability in these conditions. This makes Forte a truly versatile solution for farms where drilling conditions and methods vary between fields and seasons.
The Forte range is available in 3 and 4 metre working widths, with a choice of electrically driven emodels and mechanically driven EVO models. The eForte introduces modern precision farming features for direct drilling, such as Section Control and variable rate application based on GPS positioning. Thanks to the electric drive, calibration tests can be carried out quickly — a major advantage when using diverse crop species and mixtures.
FX Coulter System – The Core of Direct Drilling, Also Excellent in Tilled Soil
In direct drilling, the coulter system must cut crop residue, open a clean seed slot and place the seed accurately at a consistent depth — even in hard soil. The Forte FX coulter system is designed precisely for this purpose.
At the heart of the FX system are sharply cutting double discs that:

On cultivated soils, the FX coulter performs equally precisely. Its cutting action produces a uniform, clean-edged slot that promotes fast and efficient germination. This makes Forte a machine that requires no compromises — regardless of the farming method.
The FX coulter places seed and fertiliser in the same row but slightly apart. Immediate nutrient availability supports strong early crop development in all conditions. The structural design ensures safe separation of seed and fertiliser, preventing any risk of burning damage. The reduced number of coulters improves trash clearance and significantly lowers draft requirements.
High Coulter Pressure and Rear Closing Wheel Ensure Correct Drilling Depth in All Conditions
Maintaining consistent drilling depth is often challenging in direct drilling. Forte’s hydraulic coulter pressure (50–250 kg) ensures uniform penetration even in hard and dry soil. Soil variability and hopper filling level do not affect the actual drilling depth, making seeders work easier and more predictable. The rear closing wheel ensures a stable and consistent depth.
On cultivated soils, the system maintains a uniform drilling depth despite changes in soil hardness. Individual coulter pressure allows each coulter to follow ground contours independently — an important feature that improves drilling results in all conditions.
Consistent Drilling Results
In direct drilling, proper slot closure and good seedtosoil contact are essential for successful germination. The Forte rear closing wheel is engineered to deliver the ideal slot closure and consolidation.
Thanks to the rear closing wheel:
- the set drilling depth is maintained in all conditions
- the seed slot is closed effectively
- loosened soil is lightly consolidated over the seed
- good seedtosoil contact is ensured even under heavy residue
- moisture is preserved due to the wellconsolidated seed row
